Accreditation

If you complete the full training, you can begin to work towards accreditation as an EMDR Accredited Practitioner.

There are no formal or written assessments required but you are required to attend all parts in full, to use EMDR with at least 3 clients across the 2 parts and bring these cases to the clinical supervision slots.

You can practice EMDR as soon as you start training however in order to become accredited, you must apply via your country’s EMDR association.

If you are applying via EMDR UK, you’ll find all the details here.

For EMDR Ireland.

Accredited Practitioners are recognised as having demonstrated their competence in the practice of EMDR under supervision of an EMDR Consultant for a minimum of 20hrs.

This typically takes a minimum of a year, but it is all about competency so can take longer.

EMDR training at Mirabilis includes 10hrs supervision as part of the training and counts toward the minimum 20 hrs supervision necessary for accreditation application.

If you choose to train with Mirabilis Health Institute we can provide Consultant supervision for the following year if you are choosing to pursue accreditation.
