Monthly EMDR Supervision Group
Monthly supervision is the training ground to share your cases and learn from fellow practitioners and consultants in order to integrate EMDR into your practice. This is a safe learning environment in which we all share our fears and doubts, our stories and lessons as we grow together as therapists.
This supervision group will be facilitated by EMDR trainer Adam Getty and will give you the opportunity to ask your own supervision questions in addition to assisting to answer those questions brought by other supervisees.
Each group will have a maximum of 3 supervisees, and run for 1 hour.
Each supervisee will be allocated time to ask a supervision question. This session is open to those who have completed Level 1 or higher of the EMDR Standard Training.
Adam runs a number of supervision groups at various times throughout the month. On purchase of this item we will be in touch with time/date options and allocate you to a group that should suit you.
Adam Getty is a BABCP accredited CBT Therapist and EMDR Europe Accredited Consultant based in Mirabilis Health Institute. He is the Chair of the EMDR Ulster Committee in addition to sitting on the Irish Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies. He has taught and supervised on a University PG Diploma in CBT course and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision. His special interest is in the psychological impact of traumatic events including those in civilian and security forces. He has extensive experience of supervising on a one to one basis and a group format for private practitioners and those within the health service. He is a current member of the Council of Scholars; an intellectual community of EMDR international thought-leaders, working together to produce material that will advance the field, establish the parameters of EMDR efficacy, and identify areas for future research.
