Healing through Meaning
Logotherapy and Existential Analysis (sometimes known as the Third Viennese School of Psychotherapy) is an internationally acknowledged/practised and evidence based meaning-centred therapy.
One-to-One Logotherapy Sessions
Personal sessions are available for adults aged 18 years and above. Referrals are accepted from mental health professionals, GP’s, as well as ‘self-referrals’.
Group issue-based Logotherapy sessions may be made available should there be suitable demand; for further information, please contact our office.
Each therapy session utilizes the insight of Logotherapy’s founder, the Austrian Psychiatrist, Neurologist and Holocaust Survivor, Prof. Viktor Frankl.
The duration of a session is approximately 45-50 minutes.
Who would benefit from this type of therapy?
There are essentially two broad categories:
1. Those who have identifiable symptoms such as:
• Trauma related disorders
• Sexual dysfunction
• Panic attacks
2. Those who are questioning or exploring the meaning of life or the circumstances they find themselves in.
Logotherapy can help to re-orientate individuals experiencing meaninglessness, boredom, emptiness, despair or feeling frustrated in their quest to reach their full career potential.
