Scott is the first Logotherapist offering meaning-based therapy in the whole of Northern Ireland and is accredited by the International Association of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis at the Viktor Frankl Institute Vienna. There are essentially two broad categories of people for whom Logotherapy is suitable. Firstly, those who have identifiable symptoms/conditions such as trauma related disorders, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorders, stuttering, stress, depression, anxiety, addictions, panic attacks and insomnia. Secondly, those who are questioning or exploring the meaning of life or the circumstances they find themselves in.
Logotherapy can help to re-orientate individuals experiencing meaninglessness, boredom, emptiness, despair and can help those feeling frustrated in their quest to reach their full life-potential.
Scott offers one-to-one Logotherapy sessions for clients aged 18 and above. Each session lasts approximately 50 minutes. Referrals are accepted from GP’s, mental health professionals, as well as ‘self-referrals’.
